I would like to bring you all up to date with the happenings in the Fleet. At this point the major issue is the upcoming election.  I would urge all to get out and vote.  This is truely a vote that will determine the future of Wainfleet and if you care to see it remain rural and agricultural please go and cast those votes.
The Advance poll dates are Oct. 9,16, and 20th at the Moore Room in the Arena. Other dates to remember are the Chamber of Commerce Candidates night Oct. 6th at the Winger Church of Christ 53238 Hwy #3, and of course the Ratepayers candidates night ( meet and greet format) Oct. 21st at W.E.B school in the village, 6-9 pm.

Open and transparent government is a large topic of the election as is the Official Plan, major developments happening in the Fleet, and of course the lakeshore issue.

Become an informed voter, come out to the candidates night and be ready to ask those hard questions.
