Water/Sewer Project Update

The water/sewer servicing project has officially been rejected by both local & regional council!! On Thursday April 14th Regional council voted to turn away from the project in favour of supporting Wainfleet in a find, replace, repair solution.

Thank you to all who donated & gave their time to help fight this proposed project! A HUGE thank you to founding member Betty Konc for fighting on behalf of all residents right to the very end...6 years later!

Come to the community meeting to get all the latest updates on May 7th from 10-12pm.

Our Vision Statement:

We can be a leader and shining example of how a rural community WORKING TOGETHER can protect our environment and have potable water by using innovative technology designed specifically for rural homes and through inspection and education programs we can be a self sustaining and greener community. Doing this we retain and maintain the rural integrity and character that is essential to this community.

Our organization is made up of full time and seasonal residents from Wainfleet Ontario.

As communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message ( a well-chosen picture is a great way to get a point across). We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures.
